U.N.I.T.E. – You and I Teach Each Other, is a youth justice and environment program aimed at empowering youth through curriculum related to criminal justice, environmental and experiential education. Through peer-to-peer education, discussions, exercises, games, trips and workshops participants learn life skills to promote their engagement with positive behavioral and personal development, as well as leadership in their communities. In addition to criminal justice and environmentalism, themes of the program include alternatives to violence; conflict mediation; gender; leadership; communication; art, music, and video production; and public speaking.

U.N.I.T.E.’s objective is to create positive behavior in youth through exposure to differential learning opportunities that relate to the urban and natural environment.
